This plant is at my work, no clue what kind it is, but it used to be so pretty and vibrant but now it’s brittle and dying.
What is i5 called and what are the beat conditions for it?
I don’t think your picture was included in the post, but my guess would be over/under watering.
Usually overwatering is the culprit.
That’s fair! I was at work when I posted so I didn’t get a chance to check before now, so I didn’t see my pic didn’t get posted. I’m sure the issue is under watering, but I think it’s an air plant?
It’s been getting sunny and the room has lots of windows so it may be that too.

Hey OP, I’ve looked a couple of ways and don’t see a picture attached to your post. There are folks here who’d love to help - I’d ask that you post a comment with a link to the photo on a service like imgur or imgbb, or another of your choice. @greatwhitebuffalo has some great questions in their comment that would also help the community to assist you. It’s okay if you don’t have answers, but an image of the plant and its situation would really go a long way.

Hey, no need to apologize! Looking at your comments and the plants I think you’re on the right track - they look to be Bromeliads (air plants) to me. Those rely on having light to moderate shade and some moisture in the air in many cases. I’d consider having a small spray bottle handy to mist it occasionally, and possibly look to relocate it to a spot that gets less direct sunlight.
Awesome! Thank you! I’m going to try putting them in the other customer waiting area for now or bring them home to get them healthy again. Maybe bring them back to the lobby when the cloud cover comes back in a few months.

Things that are good to know, how wet is the soil, how much sunlight is it getting, what has changed recently if anything, does the pot have drainage holes, and what kind of soil is it currently in?

It was doing fine during the winter (live in the PNW) but recently it’s got much more sunny, hotter and less humid. I wasn’t sure where to start since so much coukd be affecting it currently.
I think its an air plant, from what Google lens said, and the girl that used to come by and water our plants never seemed to touch that one, from what I remember.
