ksynwa ( @ksynwa@lemmy.ml ) 3•3 years agoOnly problem I faced was that there were a lot of predefined instances that were not functional and “update instances” button did not filter them out. Apart from that it has been pretty neat.
Better_Rough_2554 ( @Better_Rough_2554@lemmy.ml ) 2•3 years agoDoes it support Piped? I’m using Privacy Redirect and I’m missing that.
I would like something like this that selects the instance with the best latency.
Adda ( @Adda@lemmy.ml ) 3•3 years agoIt does support Piped. However, LibRedirect uses random instance every redirect. LibRedirect does not sort instances by latency, as far as I know. You can customize the list of used instances with the ones with good latency, though.

kixik ( @kixik@lemmy.ml ) 1•3 years agoI’m currently using privacy redirect for FF. I see libredirect redirecting more stuff than privacy redirect, but most stuff I don’t follow any ways… What benefits would it bring using one over the other?
Thanks !
