The atmosphere erosion is not really an issue. It take 100s of millions of year to erode the atmosphere so at humanity scale it’s not really a problem.

It’s a lower barrier to entry. It’s much easier to get people/subreddit to join the protest if they know it’s limited in time.
Then once they started the protest it’s easier to extend it indefinitely.
Journey’s OST is amazing. The game had no dialogue, no text but the OST is telling the story as we others through the game.
I haven’t play the game for years but I’m still listening to the OST regularly.
I think this is in the work.

I’ve seen that this issue had been discussed quite a lot recently.
There is a discussion about something that could solve this issue on GitHub.

Basically it could group all the communities with the same name from different instances. For example all the c/piracy could be grouped whatever instances they are on. So if one goes down it does not matter to much.
Do you have another suggestion ? Target than doing a public-private partnership what should NASA do ?
So if we follow your logic the most profitable company will be the one with zero user. Since zero user = almost zero server cost.
I don’t see any flaw in this logic
I really hope this come soon. That and third party apps for Lemmy
Existing users should spread out across instances. (I should do that too to start with)
We can’t blame new user for not knowing that they should spread across the federation. By definition they don’t know what they are doing so they are playing safe and stay on one the biggest (safest) instance. It’s natural
On the other hand existing users should probably try to move across the federation to make space for the new users
It looks amazing.
I guess the next one I would like to see would be the moon. Especially with features big enough that I can be seen directly from the earth.
I want to be able to see that this is space and then touch it !
How does it even know what is installed on your phone ?
I agree, I feel like the crafting system could be removed from the game.
I would disagree, some of my favorite games are procedurally generated.
Factorio, RimWorld or valheim for example.
This is amazing !
If third party apps switch to Lemmy this could really help Lemmy to grow.
I would love to have infinity for Lemmy.
It will be somewhere in settings-> default app-> opening links
