  • Almost certain aftermath photos are included in textbooks when I was in school. As well these images are found on the internet.

I know these things aren’t mutually exclusive but Japan should focus more on apologizing for its own atrocities in WWII that led to the necessity of the bombs. The Rape of Nanjing had as many innocent deaths as the 2 nuclear bombs combined.

(Also also it seems to get overlooked frequently, but the Allies could have kept fire bombing cities and it would’ve caused far more deaths then the atomic bombs caused.)

  • Herbs and leafy greens right now (especially with facing east; should be easier on a newer grower.)

Go with tried and true: Basils, Rosemary, Thymes, Sage, Oregano. Romaine Lettuce, Rocket, Swiss chard, Kale

Herbs will be useable from purchase (should still be a nursery somewhere with some 4” pots that are hanging on or could try from seed.)

The leafy greens shouldn’t take too long to get started. They are a late summer start to sow the seeds but now is fine.

  • Square because trackpads have always been that way my dude and can be set to a ratio similar to common screen sizes.

Not awkward at all seeing how we hold smartphones these days and the onscreen keyboards are typically in the same location our thumbs need to reach when using both smartphones and the deck trackpads.

Sure you can argue size is small but most likely the deck internals won’t allow for larger size.

I liked/like the steam controller. I’ve got four. But the steam deck trackpads have been far and above more responsive for me.

  • Jim Butchers Dresden Files - James Marsters; being a professional actor makes his narrating game top notch.

Brandon Sandersons Stormlight Archive Series and Mistborn series - It’s a full cast recording from GraphicAudio; they normally do these weird western stories but did work for Sanderson and it’s amazing. Something like 10 narrators with sound effects and music. I can’t recommend it enough. I try my hardest to get first time listeners to pick up a copy to listen.

The Moon is a Harsh Mistress - narrated by Lloyd James; honestly don’t know what it is about his voice in this but it does it for me. He works in English, Australian and Russian accents and mushes them together for certain dialects. It just works really well in my opinion.

Snow Crash - I think Johnathan Davis; it’s nothing over the top special but everything is perfectly legible and spoken with level volume. It’s an easy listen. He’s also pretty good at imitating “tongues” and his YT voice is spot on for a futuristic surfer girl. Great book. My top sci-fi.
