This post was a joke but I once had a woman scream at me for an hour that her account number had 666 in the middle of it. She was extremely upset that nobody warned her about this. She wanted a new account AND a refund for the entire time that the “sinful” account was active.

I should mention that her account was 15 years old at the time. The number never changed during that time it was always the same. She screamed so long and hard that they gave her a credit that essentially covered an entire year of service. I hate it here 😀

The fact that they made it worse so they could lock what we had behind a paywall is what permanently killed YouTube for me. I will bend over backwards to make sure they never receive a penny at this point. They could have added or improved features but they just made everything shitty instead lol screw them.

What everyone else said but also they still collect and do whatever they want with your data even if you pay them. They purposely made everything more shitty and then charged to put it back to how it was originally. Also, they stayed free as long as they did to kill off the competition and it clearly worked. I just can’t ever justify giving them money. Especially with the double dip on my data.

I watched them all as a kid with my mom and we watched all the movies in theaters. Other than the movies I’ve never had the urge to go back and watch except for the very occasional nostalgia for a specific scene in an episode. I’ll always have love in my heart for TOS but it is very much a product of its time and I can’t blame anyone for struggling to get into it now. Best recommendation is to watch it with an old school trek fan because their reactions and excitement can amp up the experience a lot. Gotta be a fan that doesn’t take it too seriously because you also need the freedom to laugh at how silly some of it is when it’s not trying to be

For me, cozy is a game that I can shut my brain off to or play while I listen to a book or something. Any kind of time gating automatically disqualifies a game as cozy for me because I hate to be rushed or feel like I’m missing something. I’ll drop a game if I find out that there was some cool thing or story beat arbitrarily hidden or locked because I passed some kind of milestone in a quest.

I think the general accepted idea of cozy is games with little to no pressure or time gating and no combat or options to make combat easy. Farming sims do well in the cozy community because there’s usually no rush and a lot of little low impact things to do to keep you comfortably busy without being overwhelming. Top it all off with a pastel color pallet, and you’ve got a lot of people’s definition of cozy lol
