It’s fantastic! My biggest gripe about the flat version is how rigid movement feels, which is completely remedied by motion tracking controls.
Same. Except i had to modify it a little bit because I got used to Swift keyboard having suggestions on inputs that don’t support it by default.
I’ve noticed the same. I imagine it’s a bug with the particular text editor. I’d recommend opening an issue on github.
Fediverse is essentially the infrustructure that lemmy is built on (see also mastodon, kbin, etc). It’s a way of decentralizing a platform. Essentially, imagine if reddit had a bunch of separately and independently hosted websites that shared content with each other. That’s what lemmy is. And it is distributed and built on the “fediverse” or federated universe.
I got a VR headset recently and have been having a ball with VR modded games (Subnautica w/ submersed, Gunfire Reborn, Deep Rock Galactic, Fallout 4, etc).
Seems like a string issue. I’m sure it’s supposed to say something else (like “Saved”).
Sorry, yes, server. Caching could definitely be a good improvement. However, sending larger amounts of data (more than 20 posts at a time) will likely tie up server resources even more.
I believe that is in fact the issue. However making larger requests will just cause the issue to happen in a slightly different fashion, that will ensure heavier load. It’s largely just a matter of resources that will have to come with hardware upgrades.
I really enjoyed playing through Muramasa: Demon Blade on Wii. Surprisingly low requirements.
Also be sure to check out https://vimm.net/?p=emulate if you haven’t already. Very reliable.
Contributing to these open source projects when possible. Unfortunately, work & personal life hasprevented much of that so far, but I am hopeful to get back to it soon.
Just about any highly acclaimed cinematic games that take away control from the player via cutscenes or by completely lacking fail states thereby bringing the game to a halt until you press the one button they want you to for the illusion of engagement.
AND the BAs… AND the client (if not in-house).
The key to inclusive UI/UX is customizability, starting with a simplified template and allowing the individual user to build from there.
I wouldnt limit yourself to native linux. Check out protondb.com. You can even use non-steam games through steam for use with proton (or if you’re feeling more technical you could use other tools that are more hands on).
