Had my last smartphone, Honor 20, for 6 years, it didn’t get any safety updates for the last 3… Bought a refurbished iPhone 2 years ago, I will either use that until the safety updates stop or until I ragequit myself out of the modern society. Whichever happens sooner, following the ID laws and all.

But my main phone is a dumb Nokia I found from the trash. I don’t see it breaking and they do sell aftermarket batteries still, so no issues. Can call mom and so on.

I know those eyes… Absolutely no innocence for the next 5-15 minutes, hide everything valuable.

Niin, rahat menevät huijareille ja Klarnat/luottokorttifirmat tekevät tappiota. Kätevää kuluttajalle, mutta liekö eettistä tai järkevää?

Ite luin ja seurasin tätä häppeninkiä BBS foorumin kautta ns. livenä. Voisin melkein lyödä rahasta vetoa, että kusetus toi on. Saattaa olla, että muutamat tilaajat saattavat tuotteita jopa saada, oletettavasti tarkoitus oli “luoda luottamusta” ja sen jälkeen kadota vielä isomman potin kera, kun tyytyväiset tilaajat ovat saaneet tuttujansa mukaan.

On kyllä jännä, miten porukka tilaili Klarnalla ja luotttokorteilla, “arpaa vetämään”-tyylillä, vaikka epäilivät itsekin huijaukseksi. Itse katsoin tuolta prosessoria, AMD 7 jokuvittuenmuista, kun pitäisi hankkia projektia varten 5 5600. Mutta hinta oli 10€ halvempi tuossa kaupassa, kuin perus Verkkiksellä tuo vitossarjalainen. Tuntui epäilyttävältä, aloin penkomaan, ei tullut mieleenkään testata Klarnojen kautta… Meistä on moneksi.

Oon myös ihan junnusta katsellu Rauskin videoita ja striimejä, ovat olleet hyvää viihdettä ja piristystä moneen yksinäiseen iltaan, mutta nyt en tiiä. Maku meni aika nopeasti. Onhan se aina vähän pörrö ollut, mutta nyt oli “hieman” liian suoraa vittuilua, vastuunsiirtoa ja kommenttien poistelua… Saa nähä, palaako kaverilta esim. Lounean sponssit tämän myötä? Voisi olla jopa ihan aiheellista.

Interesting! I’m beginner with Linux and haven’t really touched or looked into Protons and Vines and those things, but very interesting! On Win10 or Win11 it’s not great at all, but Win7 was still alright… Even when that PC obviously had less of everything.

I got a XP PC for playing Sims 2 and 3, especially 3 is such a mess that it don’t really work on anything else, even if it kinda runs… Also some Lego games and such I used to play as a kid. Well, anything XP era runs, obviously. Just stick/disc it in.

Now I have been cleaning my PS3 (stolen from an ex, added in a bigger SSD) and buying some used games on it from trift stores, for about 2-3€ a piece… Looking forward for playing that new (for me) GTA! (IV) We also have like… two PS1s and at least two PS2s. I also still have my PS4, but gonna sell that once I get around. I need money for my offline Linux PC project… Chose a case that requires a single-slot GPU, send prayers and so on.

Oh, now that’s something I didn’t know yet. Probably why those all dissappeared from the local grocery stores after they held their un-Israeling-campaigns. Thanks!

Well, here they have already added extra tax to all drinks made with real sugar so that makes all sodas, juices and some teas, brand or not, way too pricey. And it’s becoming very difficult to find a drink with only sugar, even if it has some sugar they throw in a bit of the artificial shits to get the drink fit a lower tax group… I get migraines from artificial sweeteners, my spouse gets the shits. But those must be healthier than real sugar, right? Only the calories matter, yes?

Water and homemade juices it is from now on, so yeah, the tax is making us healthier at least. Maybe we’ll get a soda stream type machine and fizz up our own drinks?

As I said back in summer, the fee should be 30€ if not more. Yeah, there are times when these Chinese shitstores are the only option, for example when needing a new motherboard to some old tech to fix or mod it, I know this because my partner builds and mods stuff like MP3-players. Fun hobby, and no, the price would still be okay for specialty items like this.

But no, we don’t need poisonous plastic clothes, or poisonous kitchen gadgets or kiddie toys filled with asbestos. These are all big enough reason to meddle in with the stores.

I just got back to my favorite app, Slowly, and found a person to write to.

I found this from a trift store earlier this year, photo from online. It’s a weird game by a Finnish gossip magazine, from around 2005. It’s quite difficult and pretty funny. My friend group is mostly too young to remember the questions well, more the fun.
