There aren’t ripoffs of Breath of the Wild. Maybe Immortals Fenyx Rising is inspired by BotW, but I can hardly call it a ripoff. It’s a unique game that stands on its own. Otherwise there is no increase in Breath of the Wild ripoffs in 2020.
I’m here to stay.

I don’t mean this in a toxic way, but this is probably the worst idea I have seen yet with Ai in programming. People should use less Ai, and learn more how to program. It’s better in the long term.

Is the language and interpretation predictable and exact? If you install a newer version of the Ai, can the exact same code behavior be guaranteed? What’s the benefit over using Ai tools that generate code in a static language, instead leaving it to be interpreted?
Why not.

Usually addons will transform each page with a custom CSS to make it dark mode. If you are talking about the native dark mode of each website, then I don’t think there is a simple answer to this. Because each website is solving this differently. So we rely on custom CSS to force parts of the website styling in a temporary manner, each time it is opened up.
This vision often includes harnessing so-called blockchains, the technology behind cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, which is decentralized. In other words, no single entity has power over the system.
Mastodon, Lemmy, kbin and in general the Fediverse shows that no blockchain is needed to achieve that goal.
This is a lot going on there. I’m thankful the blog poster did a content warning, I truly appreciate that. It’s a bit too hard subjects to read for me, so not going into details now.
BTW I’m on beehaw and your reply looks like this to me, in case if it helps to see if it federates the way you was expecting it:
If you think that’s WTH-worthy, then you definitely shouldn’t read the /r/cpp thread (sample comments: [1][2]).
(edit to see if this will federate)
I tested this with a fresh Firefox profile, which is basically like a new installation without any customization. So looks like its not because of my personal customization or addons. Same results. On my old machine I remember using this website and I could navigate through the levels. But that’s 2 years ago or so, don’t remember.
Just had the genius idea to look in the Browser console and this is the message:
14:23:43.794 NotFoundError: No such JSProcessActor ‘BrowserToolboxDevToolsProcess’ 3
At the top of the blog post:

Unfortunately, this post has mentions of rape and sexual assault.
What the hell?
Why would they not? Statically linked means the application does not depend on libraries installed on the system. If anything, it means it works better, at least to my knowledge. I did a quick web search and couldn’t find anything that says statically linked binaries would not work on NixOS. Never heard of this before too. Any specific details or a link I can research into?
I’m on Linux. No clue what is needed, because the error message is not specific enough. I have created an issue on the Github page. Hopefully this can be resolved.
FLTK compared to GTK and QT is lightweight, less complicated to learn and program in and is statically linked, meaning no runtime dependency required, while still being very small in binary size. As an example the FLUID program to create a GUI itself contains every widget and the binary is only half a megabyte. More about FLTK here: https://www.fltk.org/doc-1.3/intro.html
The double tilde was an attempt to strike through the text. For me site does not work. I mean the site itself works, but nothing when I click and load a scenery. Can you load a map and use it interactively?
Edit: Oh, looks like my browser or its configuration does not work, maybe a plugin or Firefox itself: https://noclip.website/?webgpu
That release note page is humongous! (not umongus ok!?)
Amogus confirmed.
If anyone wants to know more about this subject and missed this article: The long road to lazy preemption on LWN net By Jonathan Corbet from October 18, 2024
The celebration is just a regular update report?
Yeah, but its still rumor. A leak would be some evidence we can confirm. I’m aware of the rumors and talks about controllers and the Deckard. But so far, nothing can be confirmed as a leak. – Edit: Okay its not that simple. I’ve researched a bit about the definition and yeah, this is probably just my personal interpretation. So sorry about that.
Digital Foundry did an analysis. It’s a mixed bag, some games may look better, some worse. The core problem seems to be the new upscaling technology PSSR from Sony (for haters its pronounced like “pisser”, oh I see in your other comment you are already aware of this lol).
Imagine paying a premium price of 800 Euros and then getting this. Fanboys will defend it no matter what, just like Apple fans defend if they purchase crap.
I would put this rather on the “Rumor” category than “Leak”. We have no evidence, because this is just an article about someone stating that someone is stating it.
If DLCs can be Game of the Year, then Mods should be too.
