This is a legally binding contract btw

  • Water is a wetting liquid, but it’s more about the material it’s in contact with that makes it wet.

Best Linux distribution depends on your use case and may change with time. I use Bazzite myself, and set my mom up with Mint. Also, someone should spin up something called Normal Linux specialized for statistics, so it would be a normal distribution.

    Both is good.

Anything by Pratchett, he is very quotable. Off the top of my head, Vimes’ economic theory of boots, or the parable of the fire.

Okay but water is rarely just a single molecule and therefore a molecule of water (a weetjng liquid) contacts another molecule of water and makes it wet.

Okay thats a fair point but I refuse to accept “it depends” as an answer in a thread where we are trying to start a fight.

As someone who recently watched all of the Star Wars films, I disagree.

I just can’t argue here since I completely agree.

HOWEVER! I noticed your cowardice! I have caught you! You completely ignored the holes in the straw!!!

      • I forgot the straw!

A straw has two holes. As proof, a thought experiment.

Imagine you have a sheet of paper. You cut a hole in it. You now obviously have one hole.

Now take another sheet of paper and cut a hole in that one as well. You now very obviously have two holes.

Now take a third sheet of paper. You join a point on one end to a holed sheet of paper and join a point on the opposite side to the other holed sheet of paper.

You continue joining points around the holes. Eventually the third sheet of paper becomes a tube. The original two holes are the ends of the tube.

The third sheet of paper could easily be rolled into a tube by itself, but this is to illustrate that each end of the tub is its own hole.
