That makes sense. It sounds like you are the right person to be that moderator, so I tip my hat.

As the only mod, would you be able to export the data to lemmy and inform the users that they can continue posting here? I have no idea, genuinely just interested.
I found it surprisingly easy. I don’t miss it at all and just deleted the apps off my phone that I used to instinctively open every 2 minutes.
Although there are some communities that haven’t flourished to the same levels here, I’ve found new ones and know the future is bright with opportunity.
Nothing last forever in life, so I miss the golden age of Reddit, but I also miss my 20s. It doesn’t mean I’m not enjoying my 30s though.
Automod has deleted your response, see rule 36.1.16
Isn’t this the situation on Reddit, all the big subs moderated by a handful of people? I remember blocking them all years ago.
This is such a good find and 100% something that should be look at. Sorry, I’m also not mod material and can’t chip in (with time)
A significant number. Fantastic. I’m not sure I believe the stability issues, I’m just a a tin foil hat kind of guy though. I guess it’s possible.
Jealous. I don’t t have the skills for paying attention to two things at once! Here we go GP
I always feel like those are the only laps that count in Moto3, you picked a good time to tune in.
Moto 2 start is carnage. Hopefully your watching this!
I liked the sprint, started strong then things seemed to settle into a bit of a procession. Nice to see Zarco start and finish strong, I hope he gets a win sometime.
Never watched Le Man, this might sound silly, but how do you really watch a 24 hour event?
This is great! Any chance the sprint times could be added also?
I’m not lurking, I’m writing this comment.
This is exactly what I put in the survey. If there is any ambitions to host AMA, there is no chance with piracy discussions allowed here.
Likewise, the most important thing for success here is growing the user base and engagement. We don’t have enough content to justify separating memes yet. This would make sense at a later stage.
There was a response on the AMA where u/spez said “Reddit would always be profit driven and currently does not make a profit. Unlike TP apps”
You can no longer see this on the Reddit app, it is obscured in someway. Perhaps because of the potential impact for the IPO?
Can I swear, fuck piss poo shit
Very good questions, also keen to know this but I can’t see a ‘follow’ option to get notifications or similar if you get answer…
I think it can’t be any worse than a centralised service, especially one with monetization goals. I also know nothing about anything, especially this so maybe it can be worse…
Reddit just feels dirty to me now, not in a good dirty way… Just dirty, I want nothing to do with it. I see no coming back from this even if the backlash leads to Reddit reversing the decisions. Kind of new the IPO would do something like this. Looking forward to seeing this place bloom.
I hope it’s not just being busy with work, because that’s my week too! I all seriousness though, I feel liberated in a way, so I really don’t think I’ll go back.
