Really depends where you are, in temperate climates the grasses in the US tend to be European, but in hotter climates these can be from hotter places in the world including Asia.
I like the men’s gap breathe boxers
Hay meadow species for sandy dry soil would suit. There’s a ton of suppliers for wildflower seed in the UK, but I’d highly recommend to use one that’s reputable. You can either go for seeds with UK provenance or plant legumes to give pollen and nectar resources. Or you could collect local seed from meadows near you, but that’s a lot more work!
Maintenance would be cutting once a year (September) and allowing the seed to fall (to allow natural regeneration) before collecting the hay. Would that be low maintenance enough for you? The cutting and picking up the hay does take a bit of time.
Let me know if you’d like to know more on establishing a wildflower meadow, it’s my research specialty.
You’re welcome :) It should be great for pollenators too.
I think that’s Melilotus officinalis, which was introduced to the US as a forage crop. The common name is sweet clover because the leaves contain coumarin, which smells like vanilla.
This will go to a vote in the Dail tomorrow. If you’re in Ireland, would you consider emailing or calling your TDs today?
As Ireland is such a small country, it only takes a few people to call or email for them to take note.
Find your TDs listed here (edited link): https://www.oireachtas.ie/en/members/tds/

That’s a great idea, I’ll do this too.
Having also worked somewhere that was under GDPR, weaponised bureaucracy like this can really be used to consume staff resources.
Edit: it looks like Reddit have changed their data request form. To make a full GDPR request, with the additional data in the template, you’ll need to email your request to Reddit (redditdatarequests@reddit.com).
You can not only request your data, but also request information regarding how your data is processed and also about psudo-anonymised data. These are much harder to automate a response to.
Not a stupid question. Small pots will freeze much harder than a tree in soil. You need to be more careful, especially with trees that are not as cold tolerant.
You can still makes GDPR request for your data too see if they hold further data on you. See the template here for what I mean: https://www.datarequests.org/sample-letters/

You could consider making a data request first and after they respond, make a deletion request when you’d like your account removed. This will use even more resources.
If they do not respond to either the data request or deletion request (or do not fulfil these requests fully), you can make a complaint with your local data protection office or the one Reddit is based in (maybe Ireland?). Make sure you invoke GDPR using the correct language for your request.
Here’s a template letter of how to do so under GDPR. You must request your data or the deletion of you data using the correct legal framework (quoting the correct legislation) and these templates make this easy. Plus they cover more types of data than just your posts and comments.

Do you know what species you’re dealing with? If you’re not sure you can upload a few photos. Advice will depend on this.
Normally, aggressive species thrive in an environment with excess nutrients or lots of disturbance. Can you explain your current management/cutting regime? Do you remove the grass clippings after you mow?
