Yeah I did the same thing with textra. RCS is tying me to Google messages,but sometimes I don’t know why I bother. Only 2 people I text with use it and googles app ain’t the greatest.

Googles tablet app barely tips the scales at the moment as the free one I tried (Join) was kind of inconsistent and the paid ones are too much. But man, googles tablet app is ass too.

Apparently I was the only one that used Relay. Loved it.

I find it very convenient. Can set spending limits and pause cards. So if you know a company is going to charge $5 a month, set it there and don’t sweat it. If the company decides to raise the rates to $20 a couple months later it will get declined and you can tell them to go pound sand.

For something you are only going to run one time they make single use cards as well. It’s pretty nice service when they aren’t banning you for random reasons.

Think it happens a lot in the winter. People start the gas and go back into their running / heated car. It’s a bad idea because you can generate static electricity going in and out of car, pump could start to overflow, and well… you should be watching pump when something highly flammable is being pumped into your vehicle.

Sorry I am not familiar with the acronym kyc, Google says it means know your customer? I have been using privacy for a while and only problem I have ran across have been trouble getting refunds processed couple times. Is there another concern I should be aware of?

Love them. Use them whenever I get a chance. For others I have made use of hermit which is really just a front end for the website, but they work well when the company isn’t being douches about it.

If you want a browser that gives you better privacy options then that video is a good one to watch. He does a pretty good job of breaking down most of them. They are all indexed too so you can jump right to any browser you want an overview on. Opera starts right about at 12 minutes.

To do a crappy tldr for opera: unfortunately it was the worst tested. It didn’t do things like block trackers, 3rd party cookies, set do not track, or really anything by default. It has a policy that allows them to share info collected from you with 3rd parties. They’re Chinese owned, so they could be compelled to turn that data over to the Chinese government. Some of the options you can change yourself, but the company is not very trustworthy and you’re better off going with anything else in the meantime.

It’s a fucking shame because the browser itself has roots all the way back to 1994 and they pioneered a lot of browser features that we take for granted now like pop-up blocking and tabbed browsing.

It’s a shame what happened to that browser. It was groundbreaking at one time.

I’ve kind of gotten into PWA’s phone wide. I went through my app list and replaced as many as I could. I had to go back to one or two apps when the webpage didn’t cut it, but it’s working pretty well. As a side effect, I had also cut down on my Google search usage about a month ago and I have noticed that ads (within Facebook at least) have gotten a lot more generic. So apparently the walled garden that hermit created is working.

I know this is late, but THANK YOU!!! I had been trying so many things like disabling ad blockers and Private DNS, browser settings, etc and didn’t even consider my password manager. Probably should keep this in mind going forward!

Shitposting is funny because the auto mod they are using to remove posts cites removing the post in order to save bandwidth for Reddit. The auto mod post is much longer than post being removed and contains K’s. I found it funny anyway.

I think they are still working through some issues and a large backlog. I got emails from my applications. Two - one rejected when I did a low effort answer to the question and then an acceptance. Still some growing pains I think.

I can’t login on any of my mobile devices. Does same thing as yours, get a spinning circle. Kept me from signing up as well. Ended up using a desktop pc to sign up and it works fine there. If you have a PC give that a shot.
