Because AI consumers far more electricity and water than is useful, relative to the value it provides.

It’s a normal English word taken from Latin: the plural of “focus”. The O is a long O in both words.

This game is a treat. It’s an action RPG with a surprisingly large explorable world and a really good story too.

That AI image is atrocious. Imagine burning all that energy to produce a flawed, ugly picture and then talking about ecology.

Do not miss this game, people. This and the first one are excellent puzzle adventures with a great story.

Please tell me which candidates are Marxist and anti-god so I can vote for them

Daley: Entirely. No legacy characters, nobody that you’ve met before. A different time, not a different timeline per se, but it’s a little further in the future. Goldstein: Sort of a different timeline.
Thanks for clearing that up, guys.

This reads like an AI summary of other reviews and Reddit comments. The “author” doesn’t describe their own experience with the device, except to say that “we” tried 15 different styluses. The rest of the article is based on other reported experiences.

Picard S1 was quite a bit darker than other Trek. Pointless death in just about every episode, even an on-screen eye pull moment.
I love Star Trek old and new, but I sincerely hope the writers who killed off Hugh and Icheb are never allowed near the franchise again.

As an owner of a Bigme B6 color, it’s worth noting that the WiFi is the biggest drain - and consequently, having WiFi off gets me much better results than this article reports. Since my library is on the device itself, I don’t need WiFi to read.

Stephen King’s Dark Tower series has elements of this. It’s hinted at early on and made explicit in the later books.
It helps if you’ve read other King works - The Stand, Eyes of the Dragon, Hearts in Atlantis, and Salem’s Lot are directly relevant. Make sure you’ve read Salem’s Lot before Dark Tower book 5 for maximum effect.

At its core, it is a fine Diablo game. But it’s packaged in a crummy shell of IAPs and mandatory-online crud. I got it on sale at about this price and wish I hadn’t.

You have the wrong community. Second time I’ve told you today.

This might be a better fit for the Gaming community. Insomniac’s Wolverine and Spider-Man Man 2 are not tabletop games.

I’m currently using this to learn Factor. It’s a blast!

The Signal client uses AES, so this is no reason to stop using Signal. But it’s still true that Signal is hosted on AWS.

The more people say we should stop using Signal without evidence, the more sure I am that using Signal is a good choice.
And since some of those same people are Tucker Carlson fans, just LOL.
I’ll keep using unbreakable encryption, thanks.

This is great!
I was already doing this with Molly on my Android e-reader, but it’s cool that the official app caught up too.
When you buy a product, you’re supporting the entire system which produced it. In the case of Kindle, you’re supporting DRM, proprietary eBook formats, advertising (hence this article), and the idea of revokable “licenses” to view books that you pay for but don’t own.
I get that a lot of people, including yourself, are either unaware or don’t care about these issues. But there are plenty who do, and there are plenty who will care when they realize what Amazon and other DRM vendors are doing. So I have plenty of reason to keep calling it out.
