Ah, that was definitely not us then. Ours are just intended to make both neighbors and strangers on the internet smile!

Then that’s probably us! Something about “Dragon Day” on r/dragons?
Ones that look like this, or something different?
We’ve been making them since the beginning of the pandemic, the pattern is based on a store-bought one we took apart, and we’ve made several iterations over the years including making wearable versions. It’s sewn from an airtight fabric (silpoly is the best we’ve worked with, but hard to sew) on a normal sewing machine, and has a continuous fan to keep it inflated
Isn’t tomato-flavored milk just super-creamy tomato soup? That doesn’t seem like a bad thing to me
If you’re looking for something light Coloretto is one of my favorites, and it’s good with 3, and there’s a good 2-player variant (though you may need to find it online, it isn’t in my old printed rules).
Cubirds is another game that works great 2-player but goes multiplayer.
Both of these are on boardgamearena.com if you want to try before you buy.
Are you specifically looking for games that do both, or are you also interested in 2-player game recommendations?
Inkscape and GIMP are both quality foss tools for digital creation. I use Inkscape primarily for laser cutting, but there are many good uses for vector designs as well
There isn’t an assisted way to export/import your subscriptions, and doing it manually can be a pain especially if you are the first to request some of them, which is more likely on a smaller server
Thanks, I didn’t realize how to multiselect so I just left mine on undetermined
Having worked on programming auth stuff before, that is absolutely a bug. It may stem from a mistake in planning rather than one in implementation, but that is unambiguously the wrong behavior.
Lack of shame doesn’t do you any good financially if you aren’t using it to take social risks that people with shame wouldn’t
https://xkcd.com/1570/ cleanly sums up why I shy away from actively trading my own money despite the temptation to do so
There are a lot of different types of characteristics that get described as ‘smart.’ Risk aversion is often categorized as ‘smart,’ as in “I’m too smart to do something that risky,” but that is definitely not something billionaires are known for - you can’t get that much money without big risky bets paying off.
My neighborhood is very “dog and jog” walkable, and that helps build some connections with neighbors who either have a dog to walk or get out for recreation or exercise, but I wish it were “destination” walkable as well so I could more easily run into neighbors who don’t fall into those categories
Causal connections make a world of difference. A smile and nod at scale can make you feel a part of a community, and it’s so much easier to pause for a conversation when you aren’t in a car
Thanks, that adds a lot of good context! That concern seems less relevant to photography, since there (to my understanding) there isn’t usually something copyrightable analogous to an ongoing world/character, but is definitely relevant to the conversation. How long do you think copyright should last? Would term renewals upon addition to a canon make a difference to your opinions? Do you not think your audience would care about whether additions are by the original author?
Looks better than both old and new Reddit!
Does the idea of shortening it to 10 years as others in the thread have suggested scare you as well?
I used “Saint Derelict” as a pen name for some poetry in high school, then in college I used it without the Saint as a character name in Numenera, and it stuck as a gamer name. I used it here because my other online handles are either unwieldy or name-based and I didn’t want a new one
