Man I’m so excited for the last episode but I’m also sad it will be the last. I hope they resolve the remaining story threads properly but it’ll have to be quite compact… Let’s see how it turns out

It was definitely some educational game, I’m quite sure it was “Leer 't lekker zelf”, edutainment from the Netherlands. You had to subscribe and you got a new disc every two weeks. I just looked it up and people have actually archived it online.
We met via tabletop RPGs and that’s what we still do every two weeks but if we’re hanging on Discord it’s mainly Overwatch but also Wildermyth and Mech Warrior.
Currently playing the Ace Attorney Trilogy! I’m also eagerly waiting for Next Fest to start tomorrow to try out various demos.
Cartoons, plush toys, cute merch (pencils, stickers,…). It always provides a great escape from the beige-gray adulting ™ everywhere.
This comment could’ve been written by me, haha! I loved the revival of coloring books in the past few years, there’s so many options now.
Currently re-playing the Ace Attorney Trilogy as I got it on Steam during the sale. I played them back in the day on the DS and it’s been a blast. I just checked out Jack Jeanne - it seems to have some sort of skill building aspects to it? I’ve been looking for a stat builder otome but there isn’t much out there.
It’s a native 1080p. If you’re on Facebook, there’s a group called “Projectors for sewing” that has a lot of information, they recommend a min. res of 720p. In the US there’s a big market of second hand projectors but it’s trickier in Europe, which is why I ordered a cheaper new one (Wanbo T2 Max).
Thanks! I’m actually going to swap it out for a Buddha Jewelry Mini Valentina when I downsize. That piece wasn’t in stock when I got the piercing so I’ve been wearing this Industrial Strength Marquise Fan in the meantime. Now the question is what I’ll do with the piece… Maybe a second lobe? Or get another one and wear them in my first lobes. Decisions, decisions!
Yes, I did. It was €150 from Banggood. I personally feel the cost is justified because the alternative is printing hundreds of pages and taping those together, which is high in ink cost and opportunity cost (it takes a while).
However, I do primarily (almost exclusively) use digital patterns so I use the thing very often. If you also use regular paper patterns I would imagine the value might be less.
While I won’t deny this is a bit disappointing because the ADHD community on lemmy.world seemed to be a decent one, I understand that this decision is you doing the best work you can with the tools you have. Let’s hope that the Lemmy codebase can expand to allow for finer granularity.
If I have to pick something, I’d say the thumb clusters. I barely use the top ones in the center because they’re a bit of an awkward reach for my hand size. The bottom ones on the outside are also weird because you’d need to do some finger curl or move your hands. I just ended up mapping the keys I don’t use as much over there and it hasn’t been an issue, but it is some wasted potential :)
I have first lobes on both ears and since last month a helix/flat on my right! I am quite sensitive to nickel so for most of my life, I tried having earrings but always reacted badly. I didn’t get my lobes properly done at a piercer until 2021 and them using titanium helped. My right lobe is still finicky but we’re working on it.
I use it for recipes! I use the iOS app Mela for recipe storage and it has a built-in RSS feed system to follow recipe blogs so you can easily add new recipes to your collection without having to visit all the sites separately.
Sadly sorting on new also has its issues with the auto updates and content getting pushed down automatically. I’m hoping that gets fixed soon.
The Sims 2 & Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Both of them definitely have a heavy nostalgia filter on top of them but I loved playing Sims 2 and creating all different kinds of stories and lives. 3 & 4 didn’t feel that same way. AC:WW was a cozy pocket to hide away in and just be happy. Chatting up some neighbors, decorating your house. I was always eager to see what would be in the shops the next day.
For more modern games, I would say A Short Hike. Cozy and short but sweet story. It’s a great pick-me-up if you ever need one.
My next planned pull is Luocha and after that I’m not sure. I’m not as interested in Kafka or Blade so I’ll wait and see. I did pull on Jing & Silver Wolf. Lost 50/50 to Yanqing, got Jing on the next 10 pull, lost 50/50 to Bailu and stopped there so I’m not pulling for SW anymore.
If I have to pick an absolute favorite, old Neopets. Having the little webspaces there is what got me into coding as a kid and I ended up studying & working in IT.
If I can pick multiple, I’d also add phpbb forums of yore, game guides with ASCII art maps, Flash games, and MSN Messenger.
“Zoomed in picture” is a pretty popular emoji category on the discord server I have with my friends. Here’s a few:
My husband and I really like Wonderbook. It’s a campaign game with several chapters. The theming is a bit childlike sometimes but the mechanics are fun.
