I’m very new to Lemmy and trying to find some interesting and live communities. I found this list and it is not good at all. Check !memes@lemmy.ca - 0 posts. Check other one - 1 post. Check another one - someone reposts links from twitter. That is not helpful list.
The purpose of this list is simply to collect alternative communities on different Lemmy instances, not to filter them out by popularity or a similar metric.
NRSK.no is a rather new Norwegian instance, and it looks like we’re going for mostly Norwegian language posts. One community dedicated to content in English is Norway, where everybody is welcome to both subscribe and post.
I personally prefer a single account on an instance that doesn’t pre-emptively block others, since the whole point of federation for me is to be able to access anything from anywhere with just one account.

Do you know an instance that is perfectly made for this - not blocking anyone at all?
They’re both legitimate privacy instances and part of the lemmyverse, is it a proper list if it doesn’t give all the alternatives? Up to the maintainer.
